People severly underestimate Russell Brand. This segment he interviewed Westboro Baptist  Church supporters who picket his show. He held himself very well and showed them respect when they showed him very little.

Drum corps is one of the few musical performances that still make my hairs stand up all over my body. I don’t think it’ll ever change. the passion, the enthusiasm, the energy, the drive… everything about it is what I love. I am very proud that my brother has been a member of my favourite corps, the madison scouts, and I am very happy I was there to see him age out. I am always stoked when I hear of fellow countrymen that go and play with a corps in the DCI competition. I’ll always love this activity and even though my perspective will forever be that of a fan, I’m forever grateful to my parents for introducing me and my brothers to it. This is where my passion for music started and that will never ever go away. This video is awesome. I can’t wait to go visit the DCI championships again.

Most of my foreign friends are not too familiar with Sinterklaas… but two more days and it’s the old man’s birthday. I kind of wish I could be eating speculooskoekjes, sinterklaas and zwarte piet shaped chocolate and more of that good stuff. And if you’ve misbehaved, Zwarte Piet will spank you and take you in his bag to Spain. Good thing the Good Holy man is so forgiving, I would speak fluent spanish by now!

anyway; bottom line: if you want to send me some good stuff/sinterklaas survival packs, please do.
